Palmer is nervous about the shootings but he has a lot of fun at the festival . They are putting the piegons out of there misery by shooting them and wringing there necks , but that doesn't give them a reason to do it every year.

Beans And Palmer's similarties Are they are both males and Both call Dorothy Gruzik FishFace.Palmer handles the shooting by pretending to be sick. He said that he was sick to his mom and he did that so he couldn't go.
They kinda r and kinda not because they are doing it and the birds aren't hurting anymore but, kinda aren't because if they didn't shoot the birds it wouldn't matter for them to wring the birds.

ReplyDeleteBeans and palmer are the same because they are both one of the guys . The are different because palmer cares about the pigeons and unlike palmer beans does not care about a lot of things . Palmer pretended like he was sick on Saturday.The pigoins did not do any thing to the humens the reason behind shooting the pigoins is the people who shoot them have to pay money and that money goes to the park.

DeleteBeans,Mutto,and Henry are mostly the same:rude, disrespectful, and not nice but they also are different by:Beans=leader of the group the rest are followers.Palmer just turned nine and now he is in the group and the more time as he spends with them his pesonallaty changes, he was nice and now he is not.Now all the characters are all mean,plus Palmer is a follower and the rest just go for it.Palmer acts to be sick so Saturday he does not have to go and he is going to say;my mom won't let me go and I am sick. I think the pigeon shootings is an event/tradition,they do it every so often.

DeleteI would compare beans and palmer because both beans and palmer are friends to mutto and hennry beans and palmer also dislike Dorothy .beans and palmer are diffrent by beans dose not mind wringing the birds necks but palmer feels that he should not become a wringer because he feels that it is wrong to wring the birds necks.Saturday palmer acts sick and tells his mom he feels ill.the wirngers are not putting the birds out of there misery if they were why shoot them in the first place?I think the reason for this is for a tridision.

Palmer decides to handle Saturday and the pigeon shooting by staying in bed and pretending he is sick. ( I think?) Beans and the others keep telling him to meet by the World War 1 cannon at 6:00 on Saturday, but Palmer really doesn't want to go so he pretents he is sick.
Palmer's mom told him that they are putting the pigeons out of there misery, bit I think that they are looking for something interesting their community can do, so there happen s to be ALOT of pigeons flying around.
Palmer's dad told him that people who want to shoot the pigeons must pay. Then his dad said you can kind of thank the pigeons, because the money goes toward the park.
