Informational Text

It is non fiction writing, written with the intention of informing the reader about a specific topic.


 


Today we are going to review what we have learned about informational texts by playing a unique version of Jeopardy.

longitude and latitude


The video of longitude and latitude will help us remember the importance our vocabulary words for finding geographic locations on any given map.

Today we have discussed the importance of using longitude and latitude to find the absolute location of different geographic features.  Here is a United States map that contains lines of longitude and latitude.  Practice finding the coordinates of different locations on the map such as countries, states, and bodies of water.
